Have The Lambs Stopped Screaming, Clarice?
How could there possibly be worship of a false deity if there is only one God? Surely all worship is towards that God, no matter the form.

Have you ever thought about how many people think about you? It’s so bizarre. Imagine someone, out of the blue, thinking of your face. Something happens; they remember you. Your favorite song, how you dress, the way you talk, the look in your eyes when you are happy. They remember that about you, even if you haven’t seen each other in years. Everything in life is a reminder of a person, a place, a moment. You may think you’ve forgotten, but you haven’t.
My memory shakes:
You were a mighty One,
That no Other could touch;
Proud and regal, clad in Darkness,
Yet fairer than the Sun that lit Your face.
Mighty You were, skilled and wise,
And all looked to You,
And none turned their gaze.
Death is Your name, oh God of this World,
And Death the Kingdom You rule.
Death is our End, though fools might flee,
Fearing the Peace of that Eternal Land.
From Death we have come;
To Death we shall go;
From Death we shall come,
Till the Sun sinks below.
